Sayson (she/they) is a mixed media artist based in Calgary (Mohkinstsis). New to garment-making, her work has been exploring the experiences of the Filipino diaspora in Canada using fabrics sourced from the Philippines. She is one of the cofounders of the Alcove Centre for the Arts, a non-profit organization that provides accessible arts programming in Calgary, and a board director of ActionDignity.
