One corner of the house. My lola’s house. The old capiz windows. An old painting. The batibot chair and table.  Old books and my uncle’s guitar. The wooden floor we would shine with floor wax and bunot (coconut husk) and was a bit of exercise. It doesn’t exist anymore, the house caved in because of volcanic debris and heavy rain from typhoons. Eventually, they decided to sell the whole property, where the only thing that’s left are fond memories.
