Salvador is my middle name. My maternal surname. My mom’s maiden name. We are a clan in Talisay. My grandparents used to own a boat for fishing. They sell it to the market vendors. We never owned or rented a stall in the marketplace. I know that whatever they make out of this business was enough for our family, or whoever was living in our house in talisay. They make money out of the properties they owned in the mountain, like am orchard or fruits and vegetables. We only had to  buy rice and condiments for the kitchen. All the other ingredients we use for cooking are grown and harvested by my grandparent’s farm employees.
