alex carreon is a multidisciplinary artist based in Mohkinstsis (Calgary), whose practice spans collages, photography, digital art and personal archiving. Born in Salmaniya, Bahrain to a family of Overseas Filipino Workers, alex’s work is rooted in the lived experience of the Filipino diaspora in the Middle East, and later Canada. Through their art, they explore the shapeshifting nature of belonging in temporality.
